Hihi I'm back... After my last blog, I rush dwn to Lido and meet Raymond for the movie "COLLATERAL". Actually we can't get the ticket, cos we wanna watch the 9.45 slot and getting the ticket @ 9.00. There was a long queue and we go to the express lane, which is the lane for advance booking. Tat thick skin raymond bluff his way through. He told the anutie tat he had book the ticket wif his credit card. So the auntie check but the system say he didn't (the fact is he didn't). He insist he did, but the person knw he is lying lah. The person is kind enough to let us buy the tickets, but only left the 1st row. So bo bian lor we take. I think this show is a sneak perview so its full house. The story is abt Max (Jamie Foxx) who has lived the mundane life of a cab driver for 12 years. The faces have come and gone from his rearview mirror, people and places he's long since forgotten...until tonight. Vincent (Tom Cruise) is a contract killer. When an offshore narcotrafficking cartel learns they're about to be indicted by a federal grand jury, they mount an operation to identify and kill the key witnesses, and the last stage is tonight. Tonight, Vincent arrived in L.A...and five bodies are supposed to fall.Circumstances cause Vincent to hijack Max's taxicab, and Max becomes collateral-an expendable person in the wrong place at the wrong time. Through the night Vincent forces Max to drive him to each assigned destination. And as the LAPD and FBI race to intercept them, Max and Vincent's survival becomes dependent on each other in ways neither would have imagined. In the end who survival??? Watch it yourself... Whahaha... The whole show its abt one night. You can only see day in the opening & sun rising @ the end... Not a bad show, confirm much better than "The Village". After the show I went home and Raymond went to meet his friend @ ChinaBlack... p/s: The pic on the left & right was took during the show.
