Vivo City

Yesterday went to the newly open Singapore's largest multi-experience mall - Vivo City. As a whole I was quite disappointed with the place. It was damn crowded with people and any time you will get knock by people when you are walking. Most of the shops are still not open, but the name of those shops is already appearing on the directory. This makes you went round and round searching, in the end the information counter staff will tell you is not yet open. You will also find many people looking at the directory, looking so lost on their face. Hahah... So people, if you are going before their grand opening which is 1st December 2006, better check with their counter staff in order to prevent the same situation from happening again.

There isn't many eatery open, to cater to the huge crowd. In the end you will find long queue at those opened eatery. Their food courts were even worst, after seeing those crowds you won't feel like eat anymore. In the end we had our lunch at harborfront Hans's restaurant.

After lunch we went back to Vivo City to explore further. Went to the Vivo mart, Gap, etc... We went out of the building and admiring the beautiful façade.

We went back to harborfront's Sakae Sushi for dinner, same long queuing again.

After dinner we went to Vivo City rooftop. It's a very nice place, it cater to everyone from kid to adult. There's a play pool for kid to play with. There's an open air amphitheatre for future event space.

At the main entrance of the mall.

Across the road, juz next to Vivo City - St James Power Station. A place for party animals.

Behind me is Sentosa, but the stupid haze has make it so blur. Please stop all those burning!!!

The night view of the rooftop.

The beautiful facade of Vivo City. A master piece of an award-winning Japanese architect, Toyo Ito.

The gigantic flower tree.

Found this bin in the mall where people are walking up and down. Do see such thing happened in any other mall? Do you think this is acceptable? I personally think they are not ready to open to public. Hope they can improve in their grand opening in December. I advise not to visit them as for now. If you really need to go on the weekday, weekend is horrible.

Went for a dinner with Raymond at this Japanese Restaurant name CURRY FAVOR. They are famous with their curry rice, they serve western foods too. The foods was quite nice, worth giving it a try. Prices was still affordable, not too expensive. Anyway today dinner was on Raymond. Thanks...

Waiting for the food to come.

The salad was served.

Our curry rice.

The vain pot posing with his foods.

Enjoying my curry rice.

World Trade Center

Same routine as last Saturday went for a movie. This week pick was "World Trade Center".

The story was focus on 2 cops who went into action after the World Trade Center was hit on 11 September 2001. Time flies, 5 years had past since the hit. The story carries on with how the 2 cops got rescued and carried on with their life. They are among the 20 got rescued. Thousands of people were killed in this attack.

Today the haze is getting worse, PSI reading now is 140. STOP all your burning nonsense, we had enough. Haze go away, you are not welcome.

It's Satuarday, happy that today don't need to work.

Last month (September) I had broke my record of number of OT hours per month (71 hours). The new record was 97.5 hours in a month. There was once I worked till 3.30am then left office. Last Thursday the record was broken, I worked through the whole night. My colleagues saw me in the same shirt the next day when they came to work. Haha...

How long more can I take this kind of working hours???
