Today went J8 for movie. Long time din go J8 liao, can't remember when was the last time I visited there. Today is the first visit after they renovated the place. Its much bigger and lot of shop added. The place was so crowed, its so different from the other neighborhood shopping mall.

Meet Kellen @ 2030 but she was late. Watched "HIDE & SEEK" @ J8.

"Would You Like To Play Game"?

The movie was quite good, keep u think who is Charlie. The answer will only be reveal until the end of the show. This movie should worth watching. Not scary at all. Does people really have double personality? If u happen to meet this type of people then its very scary. Haha... But dun really understand wat the director trying to express at the ending. Anyone who knw wat the director wanna express, can let mi knw. Whahaha...

P/s: I think I saw u (MITCH) @ J8.

TAIWAN

Juz another day, and I will be going for a short trip to Taiwan. The plane will depart from Changi Airport Terminal 1 @ 1300 hours and arrive at Chiang Kai Shek Terminal @ 1735 hours. If go as plans I will be back on Monday night.

This is the 2nd time I visit Taiwan. The 1st time was when I'm serving my NS. Having check the weather forecast, the temperture is between 8°c - 13°c. It's not the right temperature, as I have to wear thick clothings. I dun have much thick clothings because there is not much chance to wear them in 'warm' Singapore. Hope I dun get a cold when I come back.

This trip is very short as can't efford to stay too long, because its not holiday and cannot skip too many lesson. The air ticket is very cheap, and I will be staying over at a friend friend's house. I can save up on accomdation and there will be ppl bring mi around for sight seeing rather than juz plain shopping. Hope I can get some nice photo, as I using other ppl camera. Not able to get myself one as planned. Haiz...

Valentine's Day

THE HISTORY OF VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine's Day started in the time of the Roman Empire. In ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honour Juno. Juno was the Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Romans also knew her as the Goddess of women and marriage. The following day, February 15th, began the Feast of Lupercalia.

The lives of young boys and girls were strictly separate. However, one of the customs of the young people was name drawing. On the eve of the festival of Lupercalia the names of Roman girls were written on slips of paper and placed into jars. Each young man would draw a girl's name from the jar and would then be partners for the duration of the festival with the girl whom he chose. Sometimes the pairing of the children lasted an entire year, and often, they would fall in love and would later marry.

Under the rule of Emperor Claudius II Rome was involved in many bloody and unpopular campaigns. Claudius the Cruel was having a difficult time getting soldiers to join his military leagues. He believed that the reason was that roman men did not want to leave their loves or families. As a result, Claudius cancelled all marriages and engagements in Rome. The good Saint Valentine was a priest at Rome in the days of Claudius II. He and Saint Marius aided the Christian martyrs and secretly married couples, and for this kind deed Saint Valentine was apprehended and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off. He suffered martyrdom on the 14th day of February, about the year 270. At that time it was the custom in Rome, a very ancient custom, indeed, to celebrate in the month of February the Lupercalia, feasts in honour of a heathen god. On these occasions, amidst a variety of pagan ceremonies, the names of young women were placed in a box, from which they were drawn by the men as chance directed.

The pastors of the early Christian Church in Rome endeavoured to do away with the pagan element in these feasts by substituting the names of saints for those of maidens. And as the Lupercalia began about the middle of February, the pastors appear to have chosen Saint Valentine's Day for the celebration of this new feaSt. So it seems that the custom of young men choosing maidens for valentines, or saints as patrons for the coming year, arose in this way.

How true is the story above, I dunno... Anyway wish all couple out there Happy Valentine's Day and enjoy your day. To those who is still, yours day will come. Dun Worry!!!

2nd & 3rd Day Of CNY

2nd day of CNY, went to my auntie's house for a gathering. All my cousin, aunties and uncles will be there. Last time use to go to my grandma's place, ever since she passed away my mum and sibling (my uncle and aunties) decided to take turn every year to organize this traditional gathering. Reached there abt 1pm, and we (bro & sis) are the last few to reach. When everyone arrived, we started with the "Lo Hai" before we start to eat the buffer prepared for us.

Most happy part is receiving ang bao from uncle & auntie. Whahaha... I stay there the whole day chatting with the elder and playing computer games with my cousins. Wow all my cousins have grown up. Now some of them are waiting for 'O' level result, some in poly and there is 1 waiting for NS. Seeing them, I feel I'm getting older and older. Haiz... Time wait for no man... Very true.

3rd day of CNY, slack around till 2+ then went out. Meet Joanne at town, wanna catch a movie but the queue was damn long. So we decided not to watch. By then Regina confirm with mi tat they wanna go KTV. So we went to Party World Orchard to make booking. The KTV session is from 7-11.

We decided to have our dinner before singing. Regina suggested going to Meritus Mandarin's Chatterbox Coffeehouse. At first I was Huh, very expensive leh... But then CNY mah, go and try lor. Meet Regina & Miki there. I ordered their famous Chicken Rice and all of them ordered Nasi Lemak. Both have the same price, $22+++. Wau Lau, juz some local delight cost so much. They really "chop" those tourists. Their "Chin Chow Drink" cost $10+++, I find a bit too much. I dunno how big the severing is, but with $10 buck I can drink a whole bucket. Whahaha... The famous Chicken Rice is not really tat fantastic to mi. "Boon Tong Kee" chicken rice oso taste good, but not tat expensive. I dunno how nice their Nasi Lemak is.

The Famous Chicken Rice.

The equally expensive Nasi Lemak.

Miki & Joanne enjoying their food.

At 7pm, we start to sing. Quite some time din meet up for KTV already. There are quite a few new songs, so I try to sing all of them. While one is sing, the rest are busy catching up with one another recent life and not to forget gossip lah. The 4 hours cost us $80+.

We come up with this idea to share and buy 4D. You knw what!!! We buy 4168 and Saturday 3rd prize is 4186. DAMN IT!!! If not at least each of us can get $100.

Joanne singing & the rest listening.

Joanne with the 'V' hand sign.

Regina turn to sing, so concentrating.

After singing, we still dun wish to go home. We head down to PS and try our luck whether we can get any movie tickets. As expected, all the show only left front row. In the end we went to GV Grand at Great World City. We manage to get the ticket for "Seoul Rider". Before the show we still have time, so went to TCC to kill time. I got myself an Ultimate Hazelnut Frappe & Oreo Cheesecake. Both Regina & Joanne ordered Oreo Frappe. But dun ever order tat drink, it suck... Joanna orders a Tiramisu, but she cannot finish. They say it nice, but I dun like cos it contains alcohol.

Beautifully decorated Tiramisu.

My Ultimate Hazelnut Frappe & Oreo Cheesecake.

"Seoul Rider" Too bad cannot really see those Korea hot babe.

The show "Seoul Rider" is not bad. It is the sequel to director Jingle Ma's hugely successful blockbuster "Tokyo Raiders". Tony Leung Chiu-wai reprises his role as Japanese special agent Lam, this time on an intricate search for a pair of "The Avenger" plates used for the making of counterfeit U.S. notes. During the hunt, he comes across a foxy lady JJ (Shu Qi) and a US Embassy staff named Owen (Richie Jen), who manages to con the plates out of Lam and flee to Korea. Lam and JJ immediately follow Owen to Korea, only to be confronted by the legendary kingpin "Polar Bear," a top dog of the largest counterfeit organization in Asia. What ensues is an exciting game of cat-and-mouse in an exotic country.

Went home straight after the show, as everyone are very tired. Share a cab home with Joanne, becos we stay quite near each other.

The ticket still looks as it is after we enter the theater. Whahaha...

Eve & 1st Day Of CNY

Afternoon of CNY Eve, went to town with Carlyn to do some last mins shopping. I manage to buy a shirt. She got herself a pair of shoe, a hand carry bag, & manicure. After tat went home to have dinner with my family. After dinner relax watching tv till 11pm then went down to Lido to meet my campmates. They had bought the ticket for "Constantine". There are 8 of us. They were in town at 10pm and was there having coffee. I din join them earlier cos I wanna watch tv.

Let tok abt the movie "Constantine" first. Constantine tells the story of irreverent supernatural detective John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), who has literally been to hell and back. When Constantine teams up with skeptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister (also played by Weisz), their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost. Based on the DC/Vertigo comic book Hellblazer.

Overall the show is good, I give 4 out of 5. The effect of the movie is excellent, main actor & actress are handsome & gorgeous. The theatre was fully packed, cos yesterday is the opening of the show. There is a messege the director wanna pass to the people is - QUIT SMOKING!!! Whahaha... He uses funny ways to tell ppl to quit smoking. I find this is good...

Keanu Reeves is SOoo handsome...

After the show, its abt 2 we took the night rider to Chinatown. Wow... at tat hour Chinatown was still quite pack with people. We decided to find something to eat, and we come to this dim sum eating house. This place remind mi of her... Haiz... Total we ordered 21 items, and the bill was $72. Not awhile we finished our food, all really can eat. Then we walk into the crowd, its still quite a lot of ppl. By 4am they start packing up and slashing price.

After enough of walking and there is nothing much to see, we decided not to waste the $$$ on midnight cab. As only few hours more we can take bus or train home. So we went to Maxwell Market to have drinks and chat. At abt 6, we took the first bus or train home.

Andrew & Neo...

Kevin & Hanwoon...

I was damn tired when I reached home. Never stay out till so late during eve before. I was knock out after a bath. Sleep till 10+ and wake up for lunch. After lunch went out with mum & dad to start collection of ang bao for the day. Keep dose off on the bus during the visiting. Today din collect many ang bao, hope tomolo will be better. Whahaha...

A Fruitful Day

Haha... term test finally over and it's HOLIDAY. Put the result aside and enjoy myself first. Now think so much oso no use, there is nothing I can do. CNY is juz round the corner, but I haven buy any new clothing. I think I not going to get any, as I can buy new clothes at anytime of the year.

Yesterday woke up very early, juz dunno why. Since I've wake up, I might as well make full use of the time. Mum keeps nagging mi to pack my room the night before. So I decided to do it, if not she will start to nag again. First I clean the fan as it is very dusty, then is my desk as it is full of notes and rubbish. Took abt 3 hours to get very things look neat and tidy.

See the different, before & after.

At abt 10am, Raymond asks mi to go Sentosa with him. After some thought, I decided to join him. Reach there abt 1pm, find ourselves a spot and start tanning. The weather was quite good, as the sun was there. The beach was quite crowed, even though it's Friday afternoon. I think most probably people are having holiday like mi.

Beside us there's a group of Malay. Among them there is one fucking disgusting gay, wearing pink short with a G-String underneath. He thinks very nice izzit!!! A piece of shit lah... Cannot take it leh. The way he walks, I wanna faint. As he walks, he will twist his ass left and right. Come on lah, a normal gal oso dun walk this way lor. Din take his pic, scare will spoilt my hp. Whahah...

The word SILOSO looks cool.

This is Raymond. *Dun act cool leh*

The bright sun.

The beautiful sky & coconut trees

The tanning lotion

My turn to act cool. Whahaha...

I seldom do tanning, as I dun have a good figure to show. Whahaha... We leave there abt 4pm and head to Habourfront for something to eat. Actually we went to Sentosa Burger King, but they are close due to some problem. Got so suay anot!!! After tat Ray meets his friend and I went Orchard to meet Sally.

We shop awhile and get she get some food to eat for dinner, after tat we head to Chinatown. It's was not as crowded as it will be on the eve of CNY. Finally I got to go, as many of my friends had already been there. Actually the things they selling are mostly the same. Things you see here, you get to see it on the other street when you walk further. Then why I wanna go there??? I juz wanna feel the atmosphere of CNY. I feel tat as I getting older, I can't feel the excitement of CNY. Do you people have the same feeling???

Mi in the crowd.

Sally posing.

After enough of New Year goodies and flowers, we went to the site where the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is going to be built. They build a temporary place to exhibit all the Buddha sculpture and at the same time do some fund rising for the temple. Although it's a temporary site, it is very well decorated and it looks grand. The cost of the temple is $50 million and March they will start to construct. I dunno much abt Buddhist, but all the sculpture are beautifully done and its look so real.

Left to Right: Wealth God, Dragon Head Avalekiteavara, Amitabha.

The model of the temple.

Went home after that. I was damn tired and today was a fruitful day for mi.

Unites Shoot Down Gunners

Celebration!!!

Better view of the score board

Awesome Man Utd!!! Arsenal's title hopes were effectively ended when they crashed to a humiliating 4-2 defeat at home to Manchester United.

Patrick Vieira headed Arsenal in front after only eight fiery minutes but United hit back 10 minutes later when Wayne Rooney delicately laid the ball to Ryan Giggs, whose first-time shot deflected off Ashley Cole and past Manuel Almunia.

A typical Arsenal goal restored their advantage when Thierry Henry brought down Vieira's 50-yard pass and slipped it to the sprinting Dennis Bergkamp, who fired the ball through Roy Carroll's legs.

But Cristiano Ronaldo continued his recent goal-scoring form with his third in five games, latching onto Giggs' incisive pass before slotting the ball home at the far post. And United stole the lead in four minutes later when Almunia was caught in no-man's land, coming out to Giggs before hesitating and allowing the Welshman to cross for Ronaldo to tap into the empty net.

A sending-off was inevitable and it was Mikael Silvestre who jumped in the bath first after thrusting his head at Freddie Ljungberg, who fell to the floor clutching his face.

But Arsenal's nightmare got even worse when John O'Shea beat the offside trap and coolly chipped Almunia to wrap up a famous victory for Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

Ryan Giggs celebrate after scoring his goal at Highbury

Tomolo will be the last paper, can't wait for tat. Seriously there is no mood to study for the last paper. My mind is thinking of the HOILDAY!!! Whahaha...
