BONUS

BONUS, this will be the hottest words when coming to year end. People will be discussing - "how many month bonus you think we will get this year?"

This year government sector is getting 2.2 months bonus. On top of that they already got 0.5 month in the mid year. Government sector is getting a total of 2.7 month bonus for this working year. How nice to have such a big bonus, too bad I'm not working in the government sector.

Most company dun practice giving their staff the confirm 1 month bonus. In actual fact that 1 month is not a bonus, but it'’s our salary. Why do I say so? The problem lay in the way our salary is been paid, meaning by month.

Lets do some simple calculation:

1 year = 365 days
1 year = 52 weeks
1 year = 12 months

If 52 weeks / 4 weeks = 13 months

If our salary is paid by week not by month, we will get 13 times instead of 12 times salary per year. If I'm not wrong, most european countries are paying salaries by week.

So do you agree?

Hope I can get at least 1 month (at least get back my "salary") bonus this year, if got more of course better lah.

p.s: know why are all "Bouns" are blur, cos there is no clear view that I'm getting my bonus. SAD...

Funny

I thought 7-11 store open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month and 12 months a year???

Was out for dinner and happened to walk pass this 7-11 store and I was surprise to see its close. The store cannot be closed down as the signboard is still on. Or the store attendant go eat-snake, haha...

Casino Royale

Last night went to watch "Casino Royale" with my campmates. Din meet up with them for quite some time already. Furthermore the last in camp training I din manage to join them. Glad to hear everyone is doing fine in their very own field of life. Kelvin has graduated from his degree, Neo is doing well with his own IT company, Melvin is going oversee to work, Winston is coping well with his dad business in Malaysia and SiakChiew quit his present job got a better one.

The movie was not too bad, but too exaggerated in the action. Not really understand the story line, till the end not very sure who is the mastermind. Hahaha...

Come and Go

Recently there is nothing interesting to blog. Everyday are the same went to work and back home. "Work is a never ending task", very very true. Who came out with this phrase?

It is very common that be it in life or work people come and go. So when there are people leaving, dun be too sad about it. This is an a cycle, after that person left there will be someone coming to take over its place. "不在乎天长地久,只在乎曾经拥有", most importantly is to cherish the moment been together before.

Thursday Lynn left the company and further her career at Australia. On the same day, some colleague from Philippines return home. They have been here for about 2 months, can really see their happiness from their face. They must be missing home...

Friday Esmine left the company too (must be wondering why my company got so many people leaving), she went back to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur to help her brother. So sometime leaving is not a bad thing. Wish them all the best. I feel happy for them...
