Today wake up @ 0830 & meet Wendy @ CCK. We are going to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. You people muz be wondering wat the hell this 2 person going there for. The purpose was Wendy wanna shoot some photo.

We went to KFC for a early lunch. Then we took bus 925 and a 15 mins walk b4 we reached the reserve. After paying for the $1 ticket (so cheap leh), we start to explore the reserve...

::ME::

We took a map of the reserve & follow the route stated. Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a mangrove, mudflats, ponds & secondary forest. Most of the route we walk, left & right are mangrove swamp. As we walk, tat gal keep snapping here snapping there. We were attack by mosquito. To mi, I had experience it b4 during my NS time (but it still itchy). But this is the first time Wendy been attack by so many mosquito. We were scratching our hands & legs as we walk. Whahaha... Then come the shocking part of the day. As we were walking happily on the route, we din notice at the side there is a monitor lizard. Wendy got a shock out of her life (mi oso frighten @ the moment). But it moves away when it saw us. After tat fright, Wendy & I watch every step we walk. True enough, we meet more monitor lizard as we move on. But this din stop her from taking picture, cos the purpose there was for her to take nice photo.

Some part of the reserve were closed. So I dun get to see the mudskipper, tat I only remember when I was there as a little boy. Haiz, juz too bad... Anywhere we din stay there for too long, as we can't stand the mosquito bites. We head back to the visitor centre & get some drink. Slack & enjoy our drink b4 we leave the place.

After the we left the reserve, we walk to the nearby Kranji reservoir. @ there we saw ppl fishing & catching prawn.

Went Causeway Point for dinner as we were hungry. After our meal we went shop around & found this thing - Airplants (Tillandsias). It do not require soil to grow, juz need to spray water to the plant once 2 days. I think it should be easy to take care bah. So in the end I bought one. Hope it will grow healthy. Haha... Wendy call it "Greenie", so juz name it this first until I got a better name for it.
