Yesterday I slack the whole day, until evening then I went out. I went to find out how to get to DLS. I need to take 2 buses to reach there and 1 hour should be enough. Plan to meet up for dinner after her work, but in the end din turn out as planned. After I had found the way to Central Mall I decide to meet her at her work place. So I ask her the company name, and I go round and round the area to search for it. I sweat like hell, but I din manage to find the place. Before I decide to give up the search, she msg mi and say she can't meet mi for dinner cos she has to work OT. I was damn disappointed at that moment. What to do, just not my day. I went home as there is on other plans. After a quick dinner at home, went to WestMall with mum and dad to buy washing machine. After we had bought the washing machine, Angie called and asked mi to go somewhere to chill out. So I took a cab down to meet her. After picking her up, we went to a pub near Robertson to meet up with Rebecca. This 2 gals keep toking about $$$ as both are working in bank. After the pub we switch to Newsroom Bar and then to Madam Wong's, as there is no crowd @ Newsroom. Can u imagine I wear a t-shirt, bermuda and slippers to clubbing? Whahaha... At first I tot the person will stop mi from entering, but he didn't. They drink and dance till the place close. I was sitting there and fallen asleep on the chair. This is the 2nd time I fallen asleep during clubbing, the 1st wan was at Devil's Bar. We went Chinatown for supper, after eating we go separate ways home. Reached home at about 0430. Damn tired!!! Wallace view his life at 11:08 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2005 BBQ Our pit number 23 Yesterday (25/04/05) BBQ at East Coast was a disappointment. Everyone was late, Carlyn & mi reached there at about 1pm and we have to carry all the foods ourselves. We suppose to meet there @ 2pm, but until 4pm then people start appearing. So during the waiting time we can't do anything, we can only sit down there looking at each other. That is not the thing that makes mi pissed off. What really make mi piss off is those people who say wanna come din turn up (you know who you are if you get to read this). In the end, we buy their share of foods and they din pay. That is the reason why I wanna collect money beforehand. This is fair between both parties, it will be easier for the people who organize to gauge how much foods to buy and control within the budget. If the person have pay, he will think twice before he decide not to turn up. In the end Carlyn, Lynn, Melvin and mi have to share the extra cost. What is this!!! I do those preparing work and I have to pay more. Why izzit so hard juz make yourself present when you have already promise to come??? Carlyn say no more next time, this is the first time and will also be the last time. Waste time, Waste $$$ and worse Waste effort... Wallace view his life at 11:40 am Friday, April 22, 2005 Shopping For BBQ Food Today meet Carlyn, Lynn & Melvin @ IMM to shop for Monday BBQ foods. We bought chicken wing, pork chop, fish fillet, stingray, titbit & more... Juz @ Giant, we already spent $130+. Total we spent about $200+. During shopping, I saw a slogan from a roadshow. Here it goes... Work Like A Dog, Pay Like A Monkey, Talk To Us. I find it well describe we Singaporeans (dun mean those fucking rich people lah). We work so hard everyday and everything goes to bills, bills and more bills. Every month we get our hard earn salaries from our left hand, and we juz used it to pay bills with our right hand. It juz like a pass on, we dun get to keep much. Haiz... Like that how to save $$$??? Every month is juz enough to cover our expenses. Wallace view his life at 9:48 pm Should I??? Having offered from DLS, I was happy and also can't make up my mind. Wed went to WohHup for interview and they ask mi to wait for their call. Distance wise, WohHup is much nearer to my hse and there is a straight bus. For DLS, I still haven go and find the way. Heard some much abt DLS, all are bad comment. Example, they will throw you to the job with little help from ppl, ppl dun stay there for long and they give you lot of stress. The only good comment is that you will be able to learn. Most likely I will take up the offer from DLS since WohHup haven call mi. Better than nothing rite. If I take up DLS offer, I will start work on the 03/05/05. There goes my holiday, and come the working life. Haiz... The other thing is haven start to earn $$$, have to spent liao. Have to buy a few pants and shirts cos I think have to wear shirt & pant to work. Actually I dun like wearing shirt & pant, becos the weather in Singapore is damn hot and I will keep sweating like hell especially when go for lunch. Anyway I still have few more days to consider... Wallace view his life at 12:48 am Saturday, April 16, 2005 Zoo, Birthday Chalet & KTV 150405 Friday went to the Singapore Zoo with Wendy. Cant remember when is my last visit and I really forgot how it look like already. Meet Wendy at Lot 1 for lunch b4 we head to the zoo. Took bus 927 and reach there about 1pm. The weather was good for outing likegoing to the zoo, as the sun was not strong and it din rain. But its bad for photo taking, as its not bright enough. The admission ticket was $14.00, which I feel quite expensive. But anyway I oso dun go so often. There are lots of changes to the zoo, they adopt the 'open concept'. Which mean more animals are keep uncage, I mean those harmless animals lah. Lion still remain in their cage. Whahaha... Everywhere we went, you will see us shooting. We were so busy as we non stop snapping picture. Whahaha... This is my 1st time using digi cam taking so many picture, hope the photo are good lah. I still saving to own a digital camera myself, meanwhile I borrow from my brother. We leave the zoo at about 6pm, and went to JE for dinner. I din get any reply from them, cos I din put down my contact number. Why din they reply mi??? Becos they dun have my number or I am not good enough. Or maybe they only interested in girl, I dunno... Juz like wat Wendy said, this teaches mi a lesson tat I must remember to leave my contact number. But still I kind of sad... In the afternoon meet Wendy at town, as she wanna go and collect a shirt tat she send for alteration. When is the last time tat we meet up, I oso can't recall. I knw it has been quite some time back. Went to Hans to have her lunch, but I din eat as I already had mine. House Of Fury We catch a movie at Lido - House of Fury. Before the show we bought a drink & popcorn. I wanted sweet but she want salted. So in the end we have a mix instead. Too bad the salted wan are at the bottom, so she got no choice still has to eat the sweet one. Whahaha... The show was quite nice, very entertaining. It was full of fighting scenes and many part tat make us laugh. And the Twins Ah Jiao is damn pretty. I think its worth watching, although its HK film. The story is abt Teddy; a widowed Chinese chiropractor has two children: Nicky, who is a dolphin trainer at Ocean Park and daughter Natalie, a high school student. From Teddy, the siblings learnt the art of kung-fu, but are unconvinced of their father's claim that he was once a heroic bodyguard protecting retired secret agents. Nicky and Natalie are being increasingly tired of their father's bragging till Rocco, a vicious character who captured Teddy in return for the where-about of an ex-agent, code-named Dragon... After the show we went to Kinokuniya and she got the photo clip tat she has been searching for some time. After some window shopping we settle dwn and have sushi for dinner. Wendy Drinking happily wif her all time favorite - Green Tea Tats mi We tok a lot, telling mi tat there is this person trying so hard to break her and bf off. Why try so hard? If he/she is yours, no matter how one day both of you will be together. If both of you are not fated to be together, no matter how much afford you put in, you won't see result. Its true tat you have to fight for wat you wan, but it doesn't apply to everything. As usual, sent her home and I took a cab back... When I am playing some PC games, it suddenly went off. It black off, juz like someone has turn of the power. And when I try turn on again, it die off after few second. Wat went wrong??? It is only able to work after some rest. Izzit too old liao??? Time to change??? No $$$ lah... My friend told mi maybe the power supply is going to spoilt, due to overheated. Hope this is the only problem, if not I do have much $$$ to spent repair and replace it. I juz free from school & this stupid PC is give mi problem and make to busy. Shit!!! Wallace view his life at 11:33 am Saturday, April 09, 2005 Outing I am official out of school. Yesterday 080405 went to school to take my last test. Tat is the most relax and simple I ever take. There is totally no pressure and you only need to get 50 out of 100 MCQ to pass. During the test everyone is asking for answer, and it make it dun look like a test. Whahaha... Spent my 3 years here (Singapore Polytechnic) After the test, we (Carlyn, YuPing, Serine, SiYing, SiewHuy & Mi) went to FC 2 for our lunch. We wanna to have our last time having lunch together in school. Met Mr Loo @ the enterance, he oso last day of school. He going over to RP. All the best!!! Mi & Miko After our lunch, we went to Carlyn's hse, as she needs to change. Most of the gals are afraid of dog, and Carlyn have 2. They begin to shout and scream when the dogs go near them. Whahaha... We then head down to Suntec for movie. Reached there, when deciding what show to watch, there is a draw between Miss Congeniality 2 & Samara. In the end they wan mi to make the decision, so I choose Samara. After we bought the tickets, so coincidence we meet some classmates (Anna, Jolin, XueHui & ShiQi). They were there to do some shopping. Samara The story picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorized Rachel Keller and her son Aidan (David Dorfman) in Seattle. To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start fresh. Dun understands why people are scare of scary movie and they still wanna watch. Carlyn scream and Serine use her hand to cover her eye when those scary scenes appear. I not sure about the other gals, cos I can't see them from my sit. I give an average rate to this show. Firstly this movie is not as scary as those Japan and Korea horror movie. There is not much surprise, you will know what going to happen next. Secondly there is copy of other horror movie here and there. 1st is from "The Ring" and 2nd is from "Dark Water". It copy the ending of "Dark Water" when the mum is going to sacrifice herself in order to save her child.
