The seminar was damn boring, as I dun understand wat the speaker is talking abt. In the end, we talk among ourselves. And some unpleasant thing happened. The person sitting beside us wrote us a note saying: " If u all are not keen to listen, go shopping and dun waste your time here". Damn it, shouldn't attend tat seminar... After tat seminar, went town wif Denise, Yvonne, Jacq, etc... Meet ChewChin at Singapore Expo for the Aquarama 2005. Din manage to take any picture of Arowana, as they keep swimming here and there. Not like Goldfish and Discus which swim slowly and sometime they dun move. Discus Fighting Fish Goldfish. Some are so poor thing, they are so fat tat they can't even move. Its eyes is going to drop off??? Damn ugly... Look carefully!!! Tat's a TV in the tank... Then we went to Simei to have dinner then head back to ChewChin hse to collect my computer. Reached there after some testing, he found out tat the power supply spoilt. After tat meet up Angie for dinner and later went Suntec for movie. We watched "Monster-in-Law". After the show we hop on a Sliver Cab. I wanna to complain tat cab driver. He had a hp on his left wif the earpiece on his left ear, a walkie-talkie phone on his right hand. The whole journey, he was busy talking on the hp and walkie-talkie. Furthermore the volume of the walkie-talkie is very loud. With wat he is doing, how can he concentrate driving. Our live is at risk!!! He is more like a phone operator than a cab driver. To show her anger, Angie bang the door hard after she get off the cab. Never take a Sliver Cab again... From start work till now, I alway leave on the dot - 0530pm. Whahaha... So yesterday stay longer to make up a bit lor. Mun & Dad went to China for hoilday. So which mean nobody to wash my clothing & cook for mi liao. But anyway hope them enjoy themselves... Another week had past, I feel this week past extreme easy. Maybe is becos I am not assign to too many works at the moment, so can't feel the stress. I think very soon the work load will increase, so are the stress. Waiting for this movie to screen in theatre. Heard a lot of good comment abt this show. This movie sure sell well when it open, as there are many ppl crazy over its comic & animation. INITIAL D - The D of the title stands for drifting, a racing technique of braking the rear tires loose in a controlled manner right before an uncontrolled skid. Drifting is the fastest way through a corner. A car is considered to be drifting when all its wheels are slipping, but the front wheels are still pointed in the direction of the corner or at least straight. Since started my working life, everyday have to sleep early in order to wake up early the next day. In the past I can stay up till 1am or 2am before go to bed. I have to adopt to the changes now. Yesterday after work went to town to have dinner with Wendy. Then we came to a shop @ Herren and I bought something tat added some life to my office desk. Its a pen holder cum digital clock. I find it cool and cheap, Hahaha... Till now it still so empty and only got a small table calendar. I will keep searching to add more things to my desk. This is the pen holder, nice??? The time is 0830, juz on time for work. I know I'm having fever, so I took the themometer to check my temperature. The themometer reads 37.5 dregee, wow so high. No choice today cannot go to work liao. Called up the office to inform them I not going to work. When I called the person in charge, he give mi a "are you sure you are sick" tone. Also can't blame him lah, juz my 3rd day of work I report sick liao. After inform them I went to see a doctor and it cost mi $23.00, its a waste of money. Back home and on my computer to check my final result. Thank god I've made it. I'm graduated!!! At the same time I help Carlyn to check hers, congratulate she made it too. Din call the rest to check their result, but I hope all of them can make it. Then I sleep the whole day after taking the medicine. MingYuan msg mi and ask why I din turn up for work today. Thank for yours concern. Wallace view his life at 10:06 pm Tuesday, May 03, 2005 First Day Of Work Today report to DLS for work. First day of work, so I leave home a bit earlier. In the end reach work place too early. Saw lot of familiar faces, cos seen them before in school. The day start off with the briefing of the company, then we were assigned to different team and meet our team members and Associate. By then its lunch time, so we (MingYuan, MeiLing, William & Geraldine) went to the nearby coffeeshop. After lunch went back to office, but damn sian got nothing to do. So whole lot of us decided to go for our medical checkup. After getting the permission, we took a cab to Raffles Medical Group @ OUB Centre. We dun need to go back to office after the checkup. Hooray!!! So we went walk around City Hall and end up at Suntec NYDC. We sit down chit chat and exchange hp. About 7, we decided to go home, as tomolo still have to wake up early. Today get to knw more friends, although I have seen all of them in school before, but dun get to knw who they are. I believe there must be something to link people together. I dun believe that people can knw friends by juz by approaching them. Maybe there are some people can, but for mi I cant. Or izzit I anti-social??? Whahaha... Dun look forward to go to work, there are many things to learn and I dunno will I able to cope. Do I suitable for this job??? I dunno... The story is about the son of shady tycoon YIU (Gallen Lo) has been kidnapped. YIU, long a target of investigations by the Commercial Crimes Bureau for suspected money-laundering activities, is increasingly desperate as he battles to search for his son and to fend off police investigations. SUEN (Aaron Kwok) is a dedicated but ill-fated cop who can never get over his girlfriend's sudden disappearance 10 years ago; COKE (Daniel Wu) is a mysterious and ruthless assassin who breaks the "Code of Killers", by probing into the details of a completed assignment; TO (Ekin Cheng) is a renowned lawyer, who represents numerous notorious crime leaders including YIU, and always manage to acquit his clients from their charges. Each of the three men SUEN, COKE and TO has distinct characteristics with almost no similarities. How will their paths intertwine and what will be the breaking point that will cause them to diverge? This movie is unlike those cop stories, it does not have many action scenes. The writer - Ivy Ho, used to write romance and love stories. She puts in a lot of thinking, feeling and relationship to each of the characters. This is what director Benny Chan wants for a change in cop story.
