Meet up with Denise to eat her favorite "Qiu Lian Ban Mian", then we went to catch "The Legend of Zoro". The movie was alright, a typical hero storyline. Zorro's horse is damn cool and his son Adrian Alonso is damn cute. Adrian Alonso is only 11 year old, he will have a bright future ahead. I wanna buy cotton candy, but Denise say I'm too old for that. After the show, I still manage to catch the last bus. Can save money on cab. This is the 1st time I took a bus home from Bishan. The bus was like crawling for the whole journey. The stupid driver even stop at the bus stop, open the door when there is nobody. Wallace view his life at 11:08 am Birthday Recently are busy with work, so there's no time to blog. Last Saturday went to YuPing Birthday chalet at Aloha Loyang. That place is so far and "wu lu", not accessible at all. This year had been to so many birthday chalet, most of the chalet are at the east. I have to travel from the west to the east. So many of my friends are turning 21 this year, so no choice have to give them face by attending. Btw this should be the last, cos it's coming to the end of the year. Soon I will be broke, spend so much $$$ on movie. Haiz... No choice, watching movie is one of my entertainment in life. TODAY rated it 4 out of 5, I think it worth the rating. Even though most scenes are on flight, but the story is not boring at all. As the movie goes on, its make us think that Kyle Pratt (Jodie Foster) is mad. She is crazy searching for her six years old daughter on the plane, where there is no records show she had board the plane. Until the ending part, there is a great twist to the story line. This twist give mi a surprise. Not going to reveal too much, go to the cinema and find out yourself. Before the movie, Denise and mi went to "Ding Tai Feng" for our dinner. As usual, everytime I went there to eat I will order the fried rice and their "Xiao Long Bao". The fried rice was coated with egg and some big prawns. The "Xiao Long Bao" was filled with some meat and little soup. I'm lovin' it... Thought of watching "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo", but heard other say "The 40 Year Old Virgin" is much better. So I think can save up the $$$, spend it on other movie. Whahaha... Wallace view his life at 11:44 pm Wedding Dinner Cum Birthday... On Friday went to work as usual. The whole morning Denise and mi was retrieving boxes of document from her team project. My associate wan mi to accompany him for lunch as he wanna to get a cake. The cake is for my teammate whose birthday falls in October. There are 4 of them including my associate himself. We went Liang Court for lunch because I know there are cake shops. There are 2 cake shops, both also dun have large cake. In the end we choose the biggest among all. Haha... My associate pay for the cake. When we wanna cut the cake my associate went out for meeting and Rebecca took half day leave, so only left 2 Birthday Gal - Amy & HuiHui. After everyone get a share of the cake, the remaining we keep it for my associate. On Thursday went to one of my teammate (Charis) wedding dinner at Sheraton Tower Singapore. Went there straight after work with the rest of the team. The foods were not bad, but the waiter who serves us is a bit clumsy. He knock down glasses, water dripping off the container when pouring tea & drinks, maybe he is new to the job. After the dinner, my associate send Huifen & mi home... Labels: Birthday, Wedding Wallace view his life at 12:57 am Friday, October 07, 2005 Movie Just came back from a movie. After work went to watch "GOAL" with Denise. Suppose to watch it with my campmates, but due to poor response it was cancel. Before going to the cinema, went online to check the seat available. To my surprise, only a few seats were taken up. Which also mean it could be the show was not nice, so nobody wanna watch. This show just open yesterday and today is Friday should have lot of people wanna to watch if it's a nice show. When at the ticket counter we hesitated a second whether wanna change to other show. In the end we still give it a try. In the cinema, it is quite empty. In mind I say did we make the wrong choice. After the show, I feel it's not a bad show. In the show you get to see quite a few soccer stars. Most of them are Adidas sponsor players, they are David Beckham, Gonzalez Raul, Zinedine Zidane, etc... It's a inspire movie I think. It encouraged people not to give up dream if you have one and the dream might come true one day. It's just like a bet, either you win or you lose. But back to real life, the dream must be realistic and can be achievable. If not you can only DREAM ON... Went Border for awhile then to Mac for a bite and headed home. It is juz opposite Great World City and it is a run down shopping centre tat will not catch people attention. I was appointed as the team captain, even though I dunno how to bowl. Kanna arrow by my associate to take part in the competition. This always the case, when people organize event and the respond is not good they will by all mean force you to take part. In the end my team got 2nd, count from the bottom. Whahaha... Anyway doesn't matter, we are there juz to make up the number of people and enjoy ourselves. At about 9pm Denise and I went off after the 3 games and din wait for the prize giving, as they got nothing for us. Took a bus to Orchard, in mind I wanna get something to fill my stomach. We ended at Haagen Daz, because at these hours most of the shops are closed and I dun wan to eat fast foods. We order a Chocolate Fondue, which I wanna to try long ago. There are ice-cream balls, fruits and nuts to go with the warm chocolate sauce. In the end, Denise says she like it. Then I tell her my recommendation is always good. Whahaha... Wallace view his life at 11:25 pm Saturday, October 01, 2005 Private Sale On Thursday after work went to Isetan Private Sale. Went there with Denise, Jacq and Gera. Meet up with Angie over there. Shopping is all gals favorite. The 2nd level which is the ladies wear is more crowded compare to 3rd level men wear. Woman can buy thing from they need to they dun need. Some just buy for the sake of buying. Earn women $$$ is much easier than men, Angie is a good example. I only bought a shirt from Springfield, which cost mi about $50 after discount. The other gals didn't buy anything. After the shopping spree, went BK for dinner and then headed home. Wallace view his life at 12:07 pm Movie On the Wednesday went to watch Jackie Chan movie "The Myth" with Angie. Miss the first 15 to 20 minutes. The theater was so empty on that night, due to it's a weekday night and the next day it's a working day. Because there are few people in the theater, so after awhile I feel damn cold. Actually I got a jacket in my bag, but no choice got to let Angie wear, because she also feels cold. The movie is not bad, rated it 4 out of 5. Nowadays Jackie's movie is different from his movie in the past. Last time you can hardy find animated effect in his movie, all the stunts and moves are done by him. This movie there is quite a few scenes with computer effect. Age is catching up with him and that must be the reason. After the movie, went to dbl-O as she wanted to. Took a cab there, the queue was damn long. That night is their gal night, so there is no cover charge for ladies. Later I found out that guys have to pay $25 to enter. Then I ask myself, why would there be so many stupid guy pay so much just to get in. The gal inside really got so good to see meh? There got so much fun inside meh? At the same time we are waiting for her friend to come out. By then I decided to go home, because I promise her to stay only an hour. In the end I save up the $25. Whahaha...
