Last Saturday (11/03/06) went to Singapore Expo to attend HaiChong & Serene's Wedding. Both of them are my ITE classmates. Time wait for no man, think back during the time we still in ITE there were lot of fun and laugher. Never expect both of them to be the first to settle down. Haha... After the dinner, Sam, Aiteng & Mi went to Orchard NYDC to chill. It has been a long time that we got the chance to sit down and chat. Everyone is busy with their own life and job, that including mi lah. So we took this chance to update each other. Din stay there for long, as Sam feeling tired. So we took a separate cab home as all of us live in different area. Labels: Wedding

BROKE
Last Thur went to Isetan Private Sale after work. I got myself a Braun Buffel wallet, cos my previous one is already old and torn everywhere. I have used it for years, time to get a new one. Actually I have been aiming this wallet and wanted to buy before CNY, but there isn't any discount, so I hold the buying. Thanks God that at the private sale, there is a 25 % discount. I grab it without further consideration. In the picture, u can see notes laying. I was studying for my coming exam, but I'm too bored so I decide to take these picture with my hp. Went to the IT Show on Friday, but I went there quite late so I din get to see much things. Today brother went to the IT Show, so I ask him to see whether got any good buy LCD monitor. In the end he bought an Acer one. It cost $399, so we share the cost. This month I'm broke, spending too much already.

StoneGrill
From the forums, Denise got to know this restaurant called StoneGrill and Channel U also did recommended it. So we decided to find our way there and have a try. Before hand we did some homework, checked out the address of the place and look through the bus guide to see what bus we can take. We decided to take bus 16 at Suntec and alight near Katong Mall. I my heart where the hell is Katong Mall. Whahaha... Not long, we saw Katong Mall so we alight. All I know StoneGrill is juz around here. There are few rows of shophouses with all kind of restaurant and coffeeshop. With not much effort, we FOUND IT... When we walked nearer, at the door I saw the CLOSE sign hanging. But the funny part is there are people inside eating. Then came a cool looking guy (only Denise thinks he is cool) at the door. Cool Guy: Did u make any reservation? We: No we didn't. Cool Guy: Sorry at the moment we are fully booked. We: Can we leave of name and contact. Cool Guy: Sure! Then he ask a gal to take down our name and contact. We: About what time will you give us a call? Sweet gal: About 8pm. In my heart I say, got really that nice meh? Now only 6+pm and we have to wait till 8pm, what can we do for this 1+ hours? So we walk over to Katong Mall, I notice that the escalator is not working and the automatic swing door is not auto anymore. Then we walk in, the whole place is like a died mall. Only a few shop and Cold Storage are open. The shop there is either tuition center or music school. Only can see few parent sitting there waiting for their kid. After sitting in the mall for awhile we can't stand the bore. So we went to the nearby shophouses to explore. There are massage salon, hotel, Ktv lounge, pub, etc... Then went came to a place that sell 4D and TOTO, so we went in to buy a few dollar. Hope we strike lah... We can't stand the hunger anymore , so we order a plate of fried hokkien noodle at the nearby coffeeshop to share. While we are about to finish, the phone rings. The gal from StoneGrill called and we quickly walk over. After sitting down, we quickly order our food. The place was not too bad, there are sit on the 2nd level too. We have to cook our foods on the heated stone. Make sure you flip and flip from time to time, your food will be over cook if you leave it for too long. If you ask mi is the foods nice, I feel there is more fun in cooking the food. The price is about the same as any other restaurant. The location is rather far for mi, and there is nothing for you to do after eating. It would be better if you drive. Unless you dun mind the distance, can give it a try. After our meal, accompany her to Changi Airport as she near to fetch her mum. When the train reached airport, I din alight and I took the train back home... Labels: Foods
