Denise 21st Birthday
Saturday went to Sentosa to celebrate Denise 21st Birthday in advance. We had a stay at the Siloso Beach Resort. The resort is not fully open as there are construction works on going. We booked suite which come with a private rooftop jacuzzi. Actually the room is quite small, just that it come with the jacuzzi. So overall I think its not quite worth the money. Took this at the door, as I cannot find any sign of the resort name. When I reach there, I cannot find the lobby. As I say they are still under construction. There lobby are location somewhere at the back of the resort. Take a look at the room, its not big rite. The toilet was small too and there is no bathtub, I think they substitute the bathtub with the jacuzzi. Love the bed most... The picture show the jacuzzi, which I feel is not that fantastic. The view from the jacuzzi and the overall experience was great. The pools was surrounded by all the rooms. The landscape and the pool was nicely designed. The architecture of this resort is quite unique, the tree will pass through certain part of the floor and ceiling of the building. I like this concept very much, as it combine the living things (trees) and the non-living (building) together. When the night came, we decided to take a cable car ride. From Sentosa, it bring us all the way to Mount Faber. The ride was not cheap, per adult is $10.50 for return ride. After the cable car ride, we are back to Sentosa. Only manage to catch the ending part of the Musical Fountain. The well use of laser, water and fire make the show interesting. The old Ferry Terminal stand grand under the shine of lighting. Bought her a cake (from Awfully Chocolate), a necklace (from Swarovski) and a stalk of rose. This is the first time we try their cake and they din disappoint us. The sinful chocolate cake which most of you will think, but its her favorite. The cake looks a bit ugly, but it taste wonderful. Wake up early in the morning to have the complimentary breakfast at the roof top. The breakfast was nothing special with little variety. Normal sunshine egg, scramble egg, bread, sausage, etc... After breakfast we went to the newly revamp Palawan Beach. Cross the bridge to the Southernmost Point of Asia Continent. Children playing the newly build feature at Palawan Beach. All the kids enjoyed it very much. The beach is crowded with people, kids, young adult and old. On the Skyride to the top and from there take the Luge back. When on the Skyride be careful of your shoes or slippers, it may fall off anytime. It can be quite scary when it stop moving in the middle. Denise on the Luge when it come to a stop. I love this ride, very fun and exciting. But the ride is quite short, it take less than 10mins to reach the end point. "Once is never enough". This is the Carlsberg Sky Tower, can't remember how tall it is already. $10 per adult, expensive? Dunno how much Carlsbery is paying for such advertising. Whahaha... When you reach the top of the tower, you can see the whole of Sentosa island and its surrounding. This what you call the bird's eyes view. Labels: Birthday
