My Day
Haiz... One more year older. This year din really celebrate my birthday, in fact over the years I also dun really celebrate this day. Went out to have a simple dinner with Denise. Went to No Signboard Seafood at Esplanade. Last year Birthday also had dinner at their other branch at Kallang Oasis. We only order 4 dishes - Kang Kong, Chilli Crab, Fried Chicken & Yi Fu Noodle. Kang Kong is her all time favourite and its a must to order. The other time we ordered the small size crab, this time round we order the medium. Din stay out late as the next day have to wake up early for work. Sian... Total damage to my pocket: $93.24 Labels: Birthday

This is my first attempt cooking curry chicken rice, I was quite happy with the end product. Of course cannot compare those selling in restaurant cooked by chef. The rice was cook by mum and I did all the frying. Preparing the curry base is easy, first boil pieces of cut carrots, potatoes and onions to soften them. Then throw in the ready-made curry and its done. Cooking is really not easy and washing is another headache. No wonder the new generation dun seem to know how to cook. Denise came over and bought me a cake and a present. Get her to try my curry chicken rice, lucky she had no comment or maybe she keep her comment. Hahaha... Blown the candles and cut my favourite chocolate cake. Open my present and found to be a white jacket. Thanks gal... Went to her favourite Daiso at IMM. In the end she din get anything and I got myself a staple remover. After which bought her favourite mee siam for dinner at the Jurong East Bus Interchange.

One Last Dance
This is the first post of 2007, as usual busy with work. So boring rite. Have been meeting up with ex-colleagues and ex-classmates for dinner for the past few days. Juz chat over dinner and no photo taken. My first movie for 2007 was a disappointed one. Went to watch "One Last Dance" at GV Jurong Point. The story is about an assassin (Francis Ng) is hired to kill the men responsible for kidnapping an important man's son. With every death, the killer gets closer to the last kidnapper's name... His own. Don't really know understand certain part of the movie. A few part was cleverly shoot, like the creativity of the director. Rated it 6 out of 10 is because this movie is filmed entirely in Singapore, uses lot of Mediacrop artists. Labels: Movie
