Lunar New Year Day 1 to Day 3
Basically the 3 days are going house to house for visiting and collect Ang Bao. As usual every year the collection was not much. Anyway is the thought that count, not the amount in the Ang Bao. 3 days just passed so fast, although office is close for 3 days and only open next Monday (26/02). The 3 days is not given free, but have to deduct from annual leave, meaning forcing us to take leave. I don't wish to waste my 3 days leave doing nothing at home, so I requested to report back to work on Thursday (22/02). On the Lunar New Year Day 1, went to River Ang Bao 2007 with Dad and Mum after visiting. There are damn lot of crowd, I think 75% are China people. At 9pm, saw a bit of the firework as I was quite far away from the site where it fire off.

Just Follow Law
Went to watch "Just Follow Law" at Cathay Orchard straight after work. I was so surprise when the counter gal say $15 please. It has been so long I never been to the cinema during weekday, so used to pay the weekend price ($19). I used my UOB debit card to pay and when the counter gal ask for my signature, another surprise came along as the receipt show $13.20. So I question the counter gal and she say there is a 12% discount for UOB debit / credit card. Wow really a good buy leh... The movie was hilarious, laugh your head off. Some people might thinks Jack Neo's movie is low production and low class. But his movie really reflex Singapore society. This is his number 10 movie in 9 years. Fann Wong has did few bold sacrifice in this movie. She give up her "淑女" imagine and wearing bikini on screen (don't remember seeing her wear that on screen before). Labels: Movie

Bad Experience With Singnet
I was damn pissed off with Singnet. This is what happened, my 1500kbps 2 years contract had ended and I was considering to recontact or sign up with other provider. So I thought I can take my time waiting for better promotion as I out of contract. Who knows when the bill came, it was $80 instead of $68 which I was paying for the past 2 years. I was paying $80 for 1500kbps WTF!!! So I called up Singnet and they say it was the usual price, $68 is the promotion price. Since your contract end, you got to pay the usual price lor. That time when they called mi asking whether I wanna recontract, why din they let mi know this issue...
So I got no choice have to pay the $80 lor. When I decided to terminate the service they say I must give them 1 month notice (you think working meh still need to give notice). If you dun give them that stupid minimum 1 month notice, meaning wanna terminate right away, a $42 charges apply. Dun understand why there is such term, I no longer tie down by any contract. This is ridiculous. Damn pissed with Singnet. From now on, have to read all the terms & conditions stated before signing any contract. Lesson learned...
